How deep should sand be for Corys?

I am using PFS as my substrate and I was going to do 2 inches, is that too much?

Nope! I usually do about 2 inches. Inches are tinier than how most people imagine them. How big is your tank? How many cories do you plan on getting? What type? Any tankmates? Is it cycled? Sorry, just side questions.

Nope! Cories don't really burrow into the sand, so a thin layer is all that's needed.

29 gallon bowfront, thinking 8-10, most likely pandas, thinking 10-15 emerald dwarf Rasboras, a dwarf flame gourami (would I have more room/any suggestions for changing that?, It will be soon, I'm putting mature media from my 60 into the filters of this tank soon and letting it sit for a week before stocking

As stated, the corys have no requirements on depth so just base on whether you have live plants etc. I have my sand to about 2.5 inches at the back of the tank down to about 1.5 inches at the front

I believe it is when you get to 3-4 inches that you could get anaerobic spots

Don't put the seeded media in and let it run for a week empty - you'll lose all of your bacteria. They need an ammonia source. I would add the seeded media at the same time as your first batch of fish.

You do have room for more fish.

What about something like this?

8-10x Panda cories
12x Emerald dwarf rasbora
12x Ember tetra
3-4x Honey gourami or 1x dwarf gourami

I was thinking about maybe harlequins...could I do this
8-10×panda cories
10×harlequin Rasboras
10-12× other small schooling fish depending on what the LFS carries
3×honeys or 1×dwarf

Also, which fish should I get first to avoid getting the least hardy first and also avoid territory problems

I think that would be fine.

I would stock in this order, with a week between each addition:
5x Harlequins, 5x harlequins, 4-5x pandas, 4-5x pandas, 5-6x other small schooling fish, 5-6x other small schooling fish, 3x honeys or 1x DG

Probably a newbie question but why so spread? My main reliable LFS is abut an hour's drive..could I possibly do it 10 harlequins, 8-10 pandas, 10-12 schooling, 3 honeys or 1 dwarf? I'd really prefer to only drive down there as many times as I absolutely have to

You don't want to cause a spike in ammonia by adding too many fish at one time. If you want to add more than that at a time, be sure to monitor your water parameters daily and do water changes as needed.

So the stocking amount/order I previously suggested would be pushing my limits?

You might get a small spike by adding 10 fish to the tank, but you can control that with water changes and dosing Prime.
