I recently order some java fern, my first plant, and I'm trying to figure out how to plant it. I have a roughly 3 inch long river stone and was planning to glue the rhizome to it using super glue gel.
If that doesn't sound crazy, one unexpected thing was that the java fern came as two small plants. I'm wondering if they would do better glued directly next to one another or if I should leave some space between them. I want them in the same area of the tank ideally so I wasn't planning on keeping them totally separate, just don't want to inadvertently kill them by planting them too close together if that is a problem.
Thanks!
