How can I stop my aqua soil from sliding down?

So, I’m setting up a 15 gallon iwagumi tank, and I don’t know how to stop my aqua soil from sliding down and being flat after some time. Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do except for planting the tank and hoping that the roots will keep it up?

You can put some of the substrate in mesh bags and cover them with more sand, or you can make terraces with rocks, placing the rocks so that they stop the substrate from slipping down.

If holding it back with stone isn't an option with the look your going for, aquasoil is magnetic and can be picked up with a neodymium magnet to clean the path.

I agree put it in mesh bags and stack them then cover with topsoil.
