Hey guys,
I'm writing to you guys because I have some concern with my senegal bichir. My concern is that I have him in my 125 with my oscar and a couple other fish, they get along great, no chasing or anything. So what I wanted to find out is that how does he eat or should I say when/what do he eat? He's been in my tank already for over a month and he's alive and moving well, my concern is that when I feed my oscar and other fish he doesn't really seem to eat. I feed my fish sinking gold cichild pellets and some actually reach the bottom the tank and the fish seem to ignore it when it reach down there, so my guess is that when the lights go out he sneaks up on the food and eats it but I'm not so sure and I don't want to be under feeding him. He's been in my tank for a month surviving and I hope he's eating because I've heard stories of fish not eating for a couple of weeks. I want him to be a healthy and long living fish to grow to his maximum length. Any suggestion of what to feed him or get him to eat when I feed my other fish?
P.S. I also have a marbled crayfish in another aquarium raising for feeders.
