hot tub as a fish pond?

ther are always free hot tubs on craigslist and I got thinking pond?
any idea if this could work ?

Most have algasides incorporated into the plastic which are harmful to fish. Trust me, you are not the first to think of this, hehehehe.

is there any kind of paint or primer that would make it fish safe ?

ive seen plywood tanks that they use a liquid rubber stuff this may work?

I would think a liner would be the way to go.
This would keep the water/fish from coming in contact with the jet mechanisms which could cause issues.

ill probably be doing it more fore turtles I think the will enjoy the jets
any idea on a fish safe rubber paint?
