Horsehair Worm in Ghost Shrimp

Bettasrock

Yesterday I saw one of my new ghost shrimp with this white stringy worm and thought it was just poop or something.
Then today I got concerned after seeing that it moved positions so I searched it up and saw that it was a horsehair worm.
Should I separate it from the other ghost shrimp? And is there anything I can do to help it? I saw a lot of people saying that euthanizing the ghost shrimp is best, so if there is no way to help my ghost shrimp what method of euthanization is recommended?

Take the infected shrimp out and euthanasie ists the only way, the shrimp is going to die anyway. Its up to you which way you do it
