Hornwort and moss sale

I have a good bit of hornwort and some mixed moss. The moss is a mix of Christmas and Java moss, but mostly Christmas. This sale is for this week only, and we need to have everything finalized and payment sent by Friday, 8/7, so I can ship out on Saturday, 8/8. This means that your plants would arrive to you on that Monday or Tuesday.

Hornwort - 10 stems (approx. 4-5 inches each) for $10 (includes shipping)

Moss - 1 golf ball size of moss - $10 (includes shipping)

Forgot to add that both of these plants are super easy to grow.

Hornwort is one of the best plants around for sucking up extra nitrates and oxygenating the water. It is known as a nutrient sponge. It does especially well in higher PH's, above 7.0ish.

Both plants can be place wherever you want in the aquarium and don't need any special planting or propagating.

 

Do they need a special light or will a regular light work?

 

It depends on what you mean by a "regular light". All of my plants grow easily in low light conditions. The light does need to be beneficial to plants though, usually in the 6500k range. Perhaps start a thread in the equipment or plants section with more details on your light fixture (size, wattage, kelvin temp/k rating, etc.) This will help us figure out what you have and if it will work. Put an "@Dolfan" in your thread and I will see it there.
