Hobbies other than fish keeping

I forgot to mention, I also shoot archery once or twice (sometimes thrice!) a week.

I change my mind a lot, one week I'll be painting, next week shooting, next week sports. One thing I never get bored of is my beautiful animals
Although I've loved shooting at the gun range the past few weeks now, it's so fun! I think that might stick at that one for awhile.

I've been frequenting the range for... as long as I can remember. Dad started me around 4 or 5 years of age. I turn 31 on Saturday. DANG! I can almost say I have 30 years experience in something. HAHA

It never stops being fun or gets old --though if you get like me, it can get quite expensive (I've had more than one 10,000 round weekend) , and the money part gets old lol

I could show you some more, someday, if you promise not to judge...

I have started this hobby more than 20 years ago!!!

When my age made it legitimate...

Anything outdoors, photography, and collecting/shooting firearms which is my favorite but the most expensive to do. My favorites are the WWI/WWII era wood rifles.....but I don't discriminate

I like ponies! I started riding 3.5 years ago after wanting to for forever (but having a mother that was convinced I was going to die by even touching a horse).

I also do dance (ballet and modern), yoga, and piano/violin.

My "professional" interest is linguistics

I like spending time outside, making figures out of clay and painting them, being around animals...

I would like to learn to paint well, but so far I have only done one picture of a bird.

I technically have a few, but for me without any friends or a car I am unable to do any of them.
I do enjoy tennis, I love Dungeons and Dragons, a paddler in Dragon boat racing.
But without a car I am unable to get to the practices on the out reaches of the city. Unable to find any one to play DnD, have been searching with ads and such for many years and no friends to play tennis. Unfortunately I do lead a very lonely life, but I do have my fish even though I am not very successful at that either.. LOL... Wow I guess in a sense my lilfe sucks.. Especially since I found out some bad news about myself yesterday from my doctor.... Damm this sucks. really sorry for pilling this on and not sure what came over me. I do apologize...

The kind of figurines I paint...

... desperately seeking for geeks as geeky as I am!

Would that be Warhammer? I live in Ontario.... I could only dream of having any talent at all like that. I do have several DnD figurines but mostly they were painted by a friend who was just ok.

I've only ever played DnD. I like the DnD format, but the older styles. I started playing DnD 32 years ago...I did try 3.5 but wasn't too much into it.

Well I geuss it must be very obvious I'm into hockey but I don't get to watch very many full NHL games because I coach my kids teams, Head coach on my youngest sons team and assistant coach on my other three kids teams, spend more time at the arena than I do at home. Live on a lake so boating of coarse,my wife is the avid fisherwoman in the family I just like to keep fish LOL.Movies, reading when I can and it seems I've made a new hobby of this forum. I have enjoyed reading the posts here, this group is very knoledgable and treats the many newcomers with lots of patience and respect.

Same here Ziabis. My buddies always played, it never hooked me like it did them. So... I would sit there and sketch out all their players while they played. Not as cool as painting 3D figures, but it was fun enough. Every time they would equip a new weapon... back to the sketchbook!

I life weights 4x a week, I play PS3 daily...sometimes I like outdoor stuff mostly fishing. MMA I watch religiously, and did train TKD, muay thaI and BJJ in hopes of one day doing it. I'm pretty boring and don't watch much TV unless it's MMA and pro wrestling. I do love movies though, collect blu rays, but that's about all I watch besides MMA and wrestling...

I really miss playing DnD. I have had an add up for years searching but for some reason no one wants to play. The video games have taken over and in my opinion in a bad way. No more people contact. Very sad.
I do enjoy MMa as well, never learned anything, but like that fast action and the rawness of it. I don't like the gory stuff but I like the skill factor.
And of course our Canadian boy GSP is figthing this weekend... Pound for Pound best...
