Hob refugium

So there's not much space in the back of my tank I have a 25 gallon was wondering if you guys have any experience with the hob refugium seen a couple of diy threads made out of regular hob filters because of the limited space how small can I make it? Do you think it would be a good addition to my tank if I have fish live rock and coral or I shouldn't even worry about it because of the size of the tank
Here's some videos I've seen

Thanks for the input

Good morning,

Please note I am not a salt tank keeper but I do have HOB refugiums on my 265g aquarium, link above. These are wonderful refugiums and I highly recommend them, for fresh or salt tanks. I really think your aquarium will benefit with the addition of refugiums but lets get some responses from salt tank keepers.

The ones below are much cheaper than I what I purchased. Remember you get what you pay for! The ones I have are in the first link at the top.

I was looking at the second link how Is it cheaper quality if it's just a plastic rectangle with a pump isn't that all I need?

Either would probably work but I can only vouch for the higher priced one. It appears to be more well made.
