Hmmm....lights For Viewing? 38 Bow Front Sorority

Anyone have a suggestion for viewing lights? The tank itself has darker glass, so I can only really see the fish if the lights are on.....which would pose a minor issue, since I have a 5000k plant strip on there, and don't run co2 or anything to warrant a 12hour photo period

Plus I am fairly lightly planted with undemanding plants (Anubis, Amazon sword, peace lily, java fern, bamboo)

I'm wondering about something that I can run for when I don't need lights I can still view the fish

Maybe one of those led lights that sit in tank?

You could get a LED bubble wall. One for your tank is about 20 bucks

By the way that's a beautiful tank, love the driftwood.

I was actually considering that.... I saw one once, and though I don't have a pump for it ATM, I could hook it up as a light, and get the pump when I get the chance

I think it was close to 40 though....maybe Amazon would offer a better option?

If you're willing to spend the money I just got my Finexx 24/7 planted+ and it made a world of difference over the light included with my box front. 8ea5fd4533abaa8eaeca122f7a9e8331.jpg

You could use the night version for when you don't need lots of light

Does it fit into the standard space that the hood leaves for the light strip? c3b481fbdbf9b050cf522d023db1c762.jpg c9727cbf69b110c8649d1dc7f764e45f.jpg

The Finnex? Yes, that's where I put mine. I didn't want to remove the hood and risk my snails getting out.
