Hi thanks for any help in advance. I have a high ph in my established goldfish aquarium. Reads off the chart on regular ph and about 7.8 on high Ph scale. On the left is my tap water. Any way to lower this? My fish seem fine I would just like to get my ph to 7.4-7.6. Ammonia is nearly 0 nitrite is 0.

My PH is 8.4. I have no issues keeping bettas, goldfish, plecos, guppies, cherry barbs, etc.

Don't tamper with the PH. It does more harm than good unless you have a very fragile species.

I don't have goldfish but I have high pH too and all my research says leave it be for most species.

I wouldn't adjust that pH at all. That pH is perfectly fine for goldfish. Adjusting it is not necessary and apt to cause more harm than good.

    Your pH isn't a problem.
