I am new here, everything I do is natural, no chemicals, no additives. I have been keeping fish for over forty years and hope I can help some people. At this time I only have a 150 g tank running with Discus. This is a naturally lit tank.
I wasn't allowed to add the photo of my tank

The community would benefit from approaching the hobby more "naturally". Welcome.

Welcome to fishlore!! Good to see another discus keeper. I don’t think the site has restrictions on posting pictures. How and where are you downloading them from.

Thank you, I have been Chemical and additive free for twenty years, and I happy to discuss how I do it.

Ok you’ve tried the icon below? Press it and it gives you the option to go into your photo library. You may have to open your library to the site. Once there prese the pic you want and it should appear in this box. Than press insert followed by thumbnail and it should show below :).

Twenty years ago I met my wife and she said to me " Why do you add all this stuff to your tanks, surely fish live in water" I have now been additive free for twenty years. I have developed a system that allows you not to add anything to your tanks. Chloramine is a problem and in NZ we don't have it, but I believe my system would work with that as well.

I was going to ask, how do you remove the chloramine from your water? I'm in the US and sometimes there is so much in my tap water that you can smell and taste it.

I believe that if you have a heavily planted tank with a low fish population and do say 10% water changes weekly, that you would need no dechlorinator. But I have no way to prove it!!
