OK and my hermit crab (a very tiny hermit crab)it molted I checked with the store and they say he molted but I can't find the real crab.

Hi, I have 3 small hermit crabs and I want to know if all hermit crabs can live in saltwater because I want to breed them and they need to be in salt water to hatch eggs.

I don't know about marine hermit crabs but I'm guessing they're just like land hermit crabs in breeding habits - dang hard to breed and then, the babies won't survive because they have a stage where they are tinytinytiny (plankton-ish) and they need a HUGE amount of water (as in: ocean) to survive. I suppose its possible that marine crabs are different, but I'm guessing - no babies from breeding them.

Well I read through most of https://www.hermit-crabs.com/ from Gunnie's suggestion... that has A LOT of info (especially the FAQ's) that is very helpful.
