Looks great. I have 40 pounds of the same gravel. lol
FWIW, I'd snip the deteriorating sword plant leaf.

Thanks! Since taking the picture, the leaf has already been snipped. As for the gravel, I have always wanted sand and I think I am finally going to make the switch later this summer.

I agree to trim the thinning sword leaf.

Also, not sure, but those Java Ferns appear to be buried in the substrate. These rhizome plants will not grow with the rhizome buried. They do best tied to the hardscape.

Your tank will look great once the plants fill in.

I did not know that. They have been buried for quite sometime now. The larger Java Ferns have actually attached themselves to the gravel substrate so they are not buried. But I will have to tie the smaller ones to some rocks. Thanks for the advice!
