Successfully treated my Bala Sharks in my 100 gallon tank.
The Sharks were covered in small white spots (mostly near the fins), its its possible that my 2 dwarf rainbows has also started to show signs.
Anyways, I am just here to give you another Ich treatment option, if you have not heard it before -- Nox-Ich
It is a Malachite Green and Salt treatment, which can be done over a 3 day span. You add 1 drop per gallon (you must be careful as the dropper is really just in the form of a plastic capper with a small hole). Other than that, it worked great. 3 days and all the spots gone. You can either use the full treatment, or half for more sensitive fish. Because my sharks seemed relatively fine, I opted for the half treatment to see how it worked, so my results are based on just this half treatment.
It does turn the tank blue/green for a few hours, and it could stain some decor, so if possible to do it in a quarantine tank... do it. But I would definitely still HIGHLY recommend this treatment, as all spots are gone, and not a single fish was lost!
The bonus here was I did not change any other tank conditions besides adding the treatment. All my water tests were still perfectly fine during the treatment.
