I am needing to consolidate 2 aquariums into 1. This is what I have right now...

55g -
1 - 4", 3 or 4 year old male filament barb
1 - 5", 3 year old female Jack Dempsey
1 - 3", 4+ year old pleco.

39g -
5 full grown tiger barbs
2 - 4" turquoise rainbow fish

I've had those two groups of fish in those two aquariums for over two years without issue.
The 55 gallon is well filtered with a Marineland Penguin BioWheel 350 filter, Marineland Powerhead 400 and an Aquatop CF400-UV canister.

I had planned to have a 90g setup by now. I hope to still be able to but I have to see where I'm going with this ovarian cancer adventure I ended up on a few months ago.

Any thoughts on combining these guys into the 55g?

Thank you.

1. Bump up Filament Barb and Rainbowfish to 5+
2. JD might eat the tiger barbs
3. What type of pleco?

The tiger barbs survived the firemouths that would chase them.

I'm not sure exactly what type of pleco he is.
I've had him quite some time, I'm thinking even closer to 6 years, I'll have to look in my notes, and he hasn't gotten any bigger.
