Do you have live plants in your tank? My nitrates will sometimes drop to 0 but I notice a lot of new growth on my plants at the same time. Plants use up waste in your tank too.

Yes I do and they have been growing really fast.But does mean I don't have to worry?

I wouldn't worry about it then. Do you have fish or invertebrates in there yet? You may start seeing the nitrates again once you do.

I just added a male betta two days ago.

Thank you so much:).I am so attached to that betta and don't know if I could even live withour him:hungover:.
