Hi! So I set up a split 10 g for bettas, fluval, heater, live plants ect bought a betta, 2 days later he was dead, water parameters all okay. Cleaned it down let it cycle out for a week and got two more (one for each side) and they died within hours of eachother after about 2 days maybe less. I was like oh no! But again all water parameters tested FINE even amonia. Cleaned tank thoroughly down, cycled for 2 weeks all while guppies in it in between had no problem ( I kept my sponge filter in another tanks HOB while cleaning to keep my bacteria) tried again w just one betta and he died. I have several tanks and have always had success w bettas and I felt so bad over this. I called my LFS and thoroughly discussed everything with the worker. No idea what could be going on. Right now I have a guppy in it doing fine.
HOWEVER today I ordered snails and went to put them in there and saw TEENY WORMS AT THE BOTTOM. no idea what they are or how to treat
Got a rough picture of one next to a baby snail smaller than a dime.
