Since your pH is high, you don't need to use the regular test - you can just use the high range test.

Do you have nitrates in your tap?

How often do you normally do water changes, and how much?

How long have you had the danios?

I have never tested my tap water. I do a 50 water change ever other week and I have had the danios for about 5 months. There was 8 glowfin tetras I there also up till about 3 weeks ago.

Hmm, so it's not something related to stress from being recently added to the tank. Hopefully none of your other fish are affected, but if they are, I'd consider QTing the ones affected and treating with an antibiotic.
