I noticed one of my rainbows flash a couple of times on a leaf. Both times he rubbed the front of his mouth against the leaf. Looking really close it looks like he has one tiny speck of something on the top of his lip. Its so small I would never had seen it if it were not for the flashing. Didnt see a speck of anything on any other of the fish. Tank only has Blue eye forktail rainbows. So does it sound like I have ich in the tank? If not what else could it be and if it is what is the best approach for a tank with shrimp in it?

It won't hurt to treat the tank anyway, in fact, it's probably something everyone in the hobby should do routinely. Heat up the tank to 28 degrees celcius, 30 max (I believe that's 82-ish Farenheight). Do this over about a week and see if anything changes, gradually over another week lower the temperature after keeping it at the warmer temp for a day or so. You can put some blue planet whitespot cure in there as well if that doesn't work.
