Help with new Betta Purchase (Opinion)

Hello guys I have decided to buy a new betta fish but as you know they are so unique and I’m having a hard time choosing between these 3.

I will add a picture of my current betta in his tank and the top 3 choices of bettas to go in my other tank.

All are Plakat males, I want something different from my smaller marbled plakat in my community tank.

Please tell me which one you guys would pick,
(Orange nemo) 1st Pic
(Red/orange nemo) 2nd Pic
(Fancy Purple) 3rd Pic

Love the orange Nemo, but I think that also looks most similar to your current betta. Purple would be my second choice.

Of the 3 #2 has best form and finnage, I'm not a fan of the black on it though. I'm no Betta expert but if I had to choose one it would be #2,maybe because there's a picture of it flaring and I'm comparing apples to oranges. I probably wouldn't take any of these three and wait for something else to come along though.

#2 would come in first of the three for shape and finnage,
#3 would come in first for color of the three,
#1 would get last place of the 3 in my book. it could have stronger color contrast, and fins are kind of raggedy and looks like it's been treated for fin rot recently and recovering, so might be a continuing problem with that one, if that was the cause.

Again, I'm not an expert in bettas, and I know some on here are, just my opinion of the 3, personally I'd hold out for a better opportunities to appear.
I think it won't be a difficult decision at all when you set eyes on the right one for you. You'll know it immediately when you see it.

Purplish one is probably what i would pick, but i am a sucker for purple in general. Knowing me, i would end up with all 3 somehow!

In your numbering, are you saying 1 is the one with green plants in the background? Because I think that is their current, and then it goes 1,2,3 after that. Not 100% sure, but that is how I interpreted it.

Number 2 gets my vote, only because I like how it looks the best and not because I am any sort of Betta expert..

Picture #1 is the one with the green plant background, Picture #2 and #3 I believed is the same fish, one shot flaring, one not flaring and different sides of the fish, and #3 is the purple one.
that's how I interpreted it.
If the green plant one is their current Betta.. I'd say don't get any more if it's gonna wind up looking like that ones fins.

You might be right how you interpreted it. My top of the pictures would be the one that's flaring though if the one beside it is a different fish.

Sorry Keegans Tropiks if I was a bit harsh on it if the first pic is your current fish, I meant no offense. But It could really benefit with some vitamin supplementation, and some TLC extra water changing to get it into top shape again and get those fins repaired and strengthened.

Thanks for your response, the orange nemo is also said to be the biggest at around 4.2 CM but I agree it looks similar to my current.

Thanks mate, I’m leaning towards the red and orange one if that’s the one you mean. It looks very unique.

No that’s all good mate, I’ll rather you be honest that’s how we all learn in this hobby.

So to clarify that picture of my current betta with the green plants was about 2 months back when he was getting nipped by one of my tetras. It’s the clearest picture I have of him because he’s so active lol. I understand why it looks like fin rot. I added API salt after removing the annoying tetra and he is almost back to normal I will attach a picture of him from last week.

The orange nemo and red/orange nemo are actually different fish from an Australian breeder, might be from the same batch aswel. One has more rich red but the one flaring is said to be bigger than the others. Purple one is slightly older at about 6-7 months and the nemos are 3-4 months. I agree the flaring one has the cleanest finnage and looks the most fierce !!
