Help With Floating Plants

I would like to try adding a floating plant to my 55 gallon aquarium to see if I would like it. I mostly have a variety of different types of java ferns and anubias in there now. I have seen a floating plant in several your aquarium pictures posted here that I like, but don't know what it is. I'm hoping if I describe it, someone can identify it for me. It is fairly light green and the roots are short (around 3") and feathery instead of long and stringy like several kinds I have been looking at. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I looked those up and it could be one of them. I'll do further research. Do you have either of them, and if so, are they something you would recommend?

I would try the Dwarf water lettuce if you can. It seems pretty hardy. It is the one I have gotten to grow in my tanks where others were not so good.

I have both and I have frogbit. My dwarf water lettuce wouldn’t grow for me till I added some fertilizer. After that it grew so much and is still growing. Salvinia is super easy but if it gets water in the leaves it will die. Frogbit has grown the best for me but the roots get super long.

Thank you both for your help. It looks like when the weather warms up I'll be ordering more plants.
