I bought a know 29 gallon fish tank(duh),
and I wanted to ask some questions.
my first choice was:
rams
tetras(rummy nose)
white clouds
angle fish
and a pleco

my second choice:
asst. barbs(tiger ect.)
red tail shark
a pleco(clown)

but I still want thos angle fish, I can't get over that beutiful gold one,
and I was thing more for choice 2 with some angles,

I was wondering of the compatability with these three diff. fish,
all inter net refrences tell from reserch and not experience,
ide like experience more than reference,

all help wanted

For the first choice, I wouldn't put the White Clouds in there because they are coldwater. Now for your second choice, I wouldn't put the tiger barbs in because they'll likely shred the angelfish's fins. Besides that, I think it'd be fine.

well I don't know if there white clouds,
the store calls theme 24 karrot minnows,
my best source calls them gold white clouds,
but I can't giv up on those angles,
is there any thing I can do to get them to ignore each other?
maybe add some cheap rosy reds to destract them?
I know if I have angles I'll have live bearers to produce food,
will the barbs be good with mollies and eat the fry?(I want them to eat the fry)
maybe that could destract them from the angles,
or will a big enough shoal cause them to ignore the angles?
any ideas are gold to me,

thanks I didnt expect a reply this late

Angels are cichlids as have the aggressiveness to go with it. Very often, 2 angels will buddy up and kill everything in the tank including other angels.. when they're mating, they can be especially tough on other fish.

You mean the angels? And if it is the angels, are you trying to get them to ignore each other so that they won't mate or so they won't be aggressive to each other?

This is very true. I had 3 angels in a 75 gallon and immediately 2 of them buddied up and picked on the other one until he died 4 days later. I would say 2 angel would be the max in just about any tank. As for the barbs, I also have a shoal of 6 Black Ruby Barbs and they never bother my angels. As long as they are in a big enough shoal they take their aggressions out on each other.
