This just happened within the past few hours, is it from a parasite?? My fish is still acting completely normal btw.

The only meds I have on hand are General Cure, EM Erythromycin and Ich X.

Please help me keep my little guy healthy, I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight, is it one of those anchor worm things? I'm so paranoid. Help me with treatments and I'll put 2 Day shipping to work on any meds I need

Thanks guys

The Ultimate Carp Care Treatment - Video - Gardner Tackle

Don't know what it is but I do know the fish is part of the carp family. Carp fisherman carry this with them and treat all fish they catch with it. If no one else comes up with anything you could give it a go, but iam sure someone will identify it,

hI double dutch looking at the photo it looks as if some of the scales are missing or dropped off because of what's happening, in the uk carp are susceptible to fish lice after lying dormant over the winter this also happens with goldfish kept outside, we normally remove lice and treat any spores with treatment above but as a rule they slap the surface to remove them themselves,if it is lice ide have thought its got added somehow . what do you think a salt dip would do? or is that a no no

Not a goldfish expert.
Thought of lice cause the OP mentioned anchorworms. But as said I really can't see.

The area is just so slightly fuzzy this morning, and his poop is stringy which I've watched for sometime and it's never looked that way. Whatever it is definitely looks like a pimple practically

Should I catch him again and try to get a better picture for you guys?

I believe it was an injury he might've gotten from a lava rock, it's cleared up a lot and his scales are settling back in place. What a robust little boy! (I actually have no idea if it's a boy) Anyways, I'll let everyone know if it heals completely or gets bad again

I was thinking it just looked like a scale got torn off by a decoration. Hopefully it's nothing serious and he heals quickly!

I had a lava rock with a fake plant on it in the tank, which he's never given a second thought to he won't even really go near it, but I imagine something scared him and he bumped himself. I couldn't be sure it wasn't something else because it's was kinda super gross for a day, lots of... White, dead tissue maybe? Puss? Ew. Anywaysss yeah I think he will be just fine
