Help Setting Up Nano Reef

So I have decided to turn my 5 gallon tank into a Nano reef tank. My first question was, what all would I need(heater, refractometer, live rock, skimmer, etc.), question number 2, what is the best coral to get, question number 3, what fish or inverts. could I get. I know 5 gallons is a little small but thinking it was made for a saltwater tank(Fluval Spec 5) I thought maybe a invert or 2 would be neat. Thanks in advance

I've read a single clownfish could live in 5 gallons, is this true? Also could either toadstool leather coral or colt coral work? Also if I get live sand(Carribsea) would I need live rock?

If I got rid of the fish in my 10 gallon, would the 10 gallon be better for a reef? Would I need a filter if I added live rock and coral, and if so would a Tetra Whisper 10-30 be ok?

Nevermind i'm not going to do a reef tank until I get a 20 gallon or larger tank.

I know you changed your mind, but I was just letting you know for future reference, a clown fish shouldn't go in a five gallon.

If you ever want to try a 5 gallon saltwater, here's what I did - might help. It really helps to know freshwater in and out before you start with this small of a saltwater tank, though.
