Help Reassuring my Mom the Fish Will be Just Fine on Vacation

My family is going out of town in the beginning of July for a week. My mom wants to get someone to come over to feed the fish but I'm worried about them overfeeding. Can you guys tell your experiences about leaving the fish for a trip? (Or at least leave ideas to make sure the fish sitter doesn't overfeed)

If it matters the tanks are as follows

5g planted - Betta
10g planted - Betta (This one I'm more worried about because it's a juvie, at what age is it safe for them to go a week without food?)
20g planted - 9 Glowlight Tetras

Since it's only a week, I wouldn't worry about them! I've left my fish for to 2 weeks without food, and there were no issues at all.

No worries on a week without food. do a water change before you leave - (Don't feed them after the water change) they will be fine.
if you must, then prebag food into baggies for the fish sitter. that way the sitter only feeds each tank the already portioned out food so no threat of overfeeding.
I have done this before when gone for more than a week. but a week or less I never worry about it.

I just left my 40 gallon for 9 days with an automatic fish feeder. Came home to happy fish.
