I have some flower potting dirt and I wanted to add it to my tank I have really small rocks that I can put over it to keep it from
Floating around. Will this work? If so what do I have to do to the water

As long as it doesn't have urea in it or a wetting agent and fully capped with a minimum of 1" top.

Google turns up nothing on that brand's ingredients, at least not that I found. I would say not to use it. Fertilizers or other chemical compounds might be mixed in and could easily be toxic.

Most people seem to use Miracle-Gro Organic Garden Soil (MGOGS for short). That's what I'm soaking to use in a tank that I'm working on.

I checked and it says nothing it doesn't have any information on the bag either so I'm going to test it out with a couple plants this way no fish get hurt
