15 Gallon Tank Help please: Aggressive little Male guppy

So I used to have an overstocked tank with mixed males and female guppy.

They, as usual, made a lot of babies and between all those guppies made a lot of mess. One Male in particular was PERSISTENT with the females. Chasing them all over the place 24/7.....Then I lost 3 females, one at a time, over a long ish time period (6 weeks). Couldn’t tell what was wrong, they would become lethargic and then be fine and then loose some colour and be lethargic and eventually die. One at a time.....

So used medication to treat against a range of things (Esha 2000 + Esha Exit). In the end, I decided when the another female died that enough was enough. My tank is overstocked and despite lots of what changes and great parameters and no other type of fish getting sick (including neon tetras), I clearly had an issue with “overstocking”....

So I sadly sold all the females, and kept the three males, only to now have one male looking a little worse for wear and a bit lethargic too, noticed yesterday his tail is a little split... and then I see that the little Male being aggressive and it kind of clicks.

I think my tank was overstocked. BUT I think this guy has been bullying the others to death. One at a time .....

So I guess the solution is to get rid of him (sell or trade him)

but my questions are
1) can two Male guppies co exist with no females and other tank mates being tetra or 2 Khuli loach (2 honey gourami too)

2) should I remove this Male, get two more males so that there are 4 males and hopefully all four can a) share aggression and b) not be as aggressive as this guy

Also, I have a strong suspicion that the guppies are getting constipated.... so I’ll feed less (I feed 5/6 days but perhaps too much food)

Is there a brand /type of fish food you recommend?

There's nothing like a good old execution!!! JK I would get rid of him. You could try having him with other tankmates. If you have fish that take large live food, you could use him as a feeder fish.

I think Kuhli loaches need more of their own kind, and the 2 honey gouramis could be a bit stressed, they do enjoy more of their own kind. For the guppies:
Go with all males or a ratio of 1 male to 2 females. Even better, 1 male to 3 females. This ensures that the male has plenty of females to chase after for and will get the other females a chance to rest. If you go with all males, there will likely be no aggression, as there are no females to fight over for, and will be more colorful. Depends if you want fry or want an aesthetic tank.

EDIT: I did not mean that you should ADD more honey gouramis and kuhli loaches, as a 15 gallon is quite small for them. Kuhli loaches need at least a 20 for a group and 3 honeys would be preferable.

That's heartbreaking! Even if it is a bully, it doesn't need to get fed to other fish!

I suppose you can sell him than get more females

Thats cruel!!!! No matter how bullying he was, Dont do that or at least n a humane way
No matter how anyone is, It doesn't deserve anything right nor wrong

If he's being too persistent and hasn't calmed down then I'd probably take him back to the LFS. They likely won't give you credit for him unless he's a really out of the norm strain but they'll take him back usually

If he feels the other males are prettier then he could be aggressive and fin nip. If you have a second fish tank with other fish compatible to guppies then put him there and he will calm down. I currently have two males that get along together with a female betta and as long as there is plenty of room and plant cover they all get along. Good luck!
