HELP! Playdoh in fish tank

Hi,

I came home today to find my daughters fish tank (20long) with playdoh inside! The water was very cloudy, and some of the fishies ate it and are pooping pink!
I did a 80% water change and took all the playdoh out. The water is still somewhat cloudy, but there have been no deaths.
I can see some of the ghost shrimp with playdoh in their bellies.
Should I do another big water change today? Are the fish going to be ok? Is there anything else I can do?
I have 5 mollies, 1 female GBR, 5 otos and 6 neons.

I would do another water change.
Playdoh is nontoxic(to humans at least) so hopefully your fish will be ok. Maybe feed them deshelled peas to get them to pass it?

They should be okay, try and keep up with the water changes and get out as much as you can. You can try giving the tank a cooked and unshelled (cooled) pea to help them pass it quicker, but try to get everything that you can see out to help them out. I have known a couple kids to eat it and they were fine, so the fish should come through it with little to no wear on them.

I used to make play doh with my mom. It's may be different than store bought, but I remember it was all stuff we got from the pantry lol. Nothing crazy. I do remember it took a lot of salt.

Thanks for the advice, everyone! So far no deaths, and after a few water changes, the water seems much clearer. I was worried about my otos and grb but they are doing just fine.
Picking up pink fish poop was kind entertaining
