Help On Identifying Ick

Hello, I'm rather new to this hobby and had gotten a german blue ram, when I put him in the tank I quickly realized that he didn't look so well and saw that one of his fins was clamped to his side and he was breathing very heavily. I also noticed 2 white spots on the tip of his tail and that his fins were damaged, however I am led to believe the damaged fins were from his when he was in the store with a gold ram which was constantly trying to attack him. Could the 2 dots on the tip of his tail be from some sort of inflammation from the constant attacks that the gold ram had done? Or could it be ick? Or should I just wait to see if the other fish in the tank get it until I give meds?

Thank you

Pictures would be very helpful!

Also, could you list your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate? As well as temperature?

I'm sorry how do I add a picture from my phone gallery and as for the numbers, ammonia was at 0, nitrite also at zero, and nitrate was at around 10 ppm. I have very soft water but my ph was around 7.2

What is the temperature, and if the pH changed a lot quickly, that could be the case

78 °F and I'm not sure what the ph was at the petsmart

So we can’t assume anything about the pH, but German blue rams won’t live long in colder water, what other fish are in the tank.

What temp should I put it at and I have 2 angelfish, 1 Bolivian ram, the german ram, 1 dwarf gourami and 2 zebra danios although I plan to get more
Hmm, well the problem here is that rams like warm water eI above 80, everything else can tolerate that water and colder water except for the zebra danios, which like colder water better, you may end up having to chose between them. Otherwise turning up the temperature can help if it’s ich, as the ich parasite can’t tolerate warm water.

Ok thank you!
