So I returned my other fish and left:

4 marble angelfish
2 pictus catfish
1 small senegal bichir (3")

would this be a better setting?

PS, can I add a discus into this tank?

THANKS GUYS!

Unforutnately the stocking needs to be worked on still. If you really want an Angelfish, I would only have one in a 20g, 29 preferred.

Pictus Catfish 4-5inches and minimum size tank is 55g

Senegal Bichir (10-12 inches) minimum size tank is 40g

With this size tank, you can't add a Discus. With this stocking, you can't add any other fish. I would suggest returning all the current fish and look for fish that are appropriate for your tank size. All the fish you have chosen all grow big.

Discus profile:

Also, please fill the rest of your profile, Until you fill out your profile, you will be getting a lot of the same questions...example...is your tank cycled? do you know the nitrogen cycle, what are you water parameters?

This is a 20 gallon?

I'm afraid that I would have to advise you to return all of the fish you still have and rethink your stock. This is grossly overstocked and a danger to any fish you put in there.

I'd have to agree. In addition to the fact that the fish you have aren't suited to that tank (angels prefer larger tanks, and definitely not four in a 20 gallon; pictus get pretty large and prefer groups, and 75+ gallons at least), there definitely isn't space to add more. Discus need a MINIMUM of 55 gallons and a group of at least 5-6, so that is definitely not an option, even if you returned all your fish - which I definitely think you should anyway.

You should look at a group of zebra danios, maybe a gouarmI but your tank is pretty small.

I would like a group of Discus too, but I just don't have the room in my 55 gallon right now.
