Thanks in advance. 2 things

1st Here is a picture of a new emerald jade shrimp I got. I just noticed it looks like something on his head behind and in between eyes. Do I need to salt dip?

2nd this one has good color in light slightly darker but good color except this line down back. I know not saddle down entire back. Do I cull or is this ok.

I cant see the first picture very well so need a side view but at a guess its Scutariella Japonica.
The second is known as a racing strip quite common in some specias like in my yellow sakura

First off cool yellows.
I'll try to get better pic this morning, if I can't get perfect pic the salt dip is not dangerous is it? It's only 6 shrimp in that new tank.

Also I'm glad that racing strip is not unhealthy my kids (and i) think pretty cool

I've never had to do it but you need two cups put 1table spoon of salt in and disolve, dip the shrimp for 30 seconds then keep in the net and put him in the other cup of tank water do this a few times and they will fall off, kerp an eye over the nevt 3 weeks to see if eggs hatch and find another host

The salt dip is the way to get rid of them but it must be aquarium salt,
