Help My Male Kribensis Is Crazy!!!!

My Male kribensis is a psychopath. He lives in a 20 gallon with 2 cories, which he actually doesn’t mind ( they learned to keep off, and he never can really get them fast) and he lives with his “spouse”. Its currently their second time with fry, last time the fry were all gone one day, and he was harassing the female, who thankfully could hide in many spots. They got back together, but as soon as they had babies and they were free swimming, the male harassed the female, I found her in a plant all pale, so I took her out and put her in a breeding net for the night and day, after a day, I let her out again, and she got along with the dad, for 10 seconds as he chased her persistently so now she is hiding, and I can't even get the male or female back into the fish net. I broke 2 vases already trying! The male is 2.5 - 3 inches and the female is 2 inches. The cories don't really get involved and they get food every morning. I love my kribs and can’t stand them doing this

I also have no spare tanks, and the pet co (I know not the best store, there ste no LFS near me...) is too far, I don't have oxygen pumps or stuff like that...

You can make a simple divider using netting, screen, or an aluminum baking pan, cut to size.

I have a net for breeding, but I can't get the fish into it, too many hiding spots where I can't reach them, I also can't really construct a barrier as I have none of those, and the fish move fast. When I say the tank is decorated, I mean a lot alot of decorations, especially in the center and edges for the sake of vanity and hiding for the fish. My tank sits a a constant temp of 78 fahrenheit.

I'm sorry for my apparent inexperience, I am not a full on hobbyist, I only have 1 aquarium and can't really do much to the fish... I can't even buy a car yet!

I also do not know the PH of my tank... I do know the nitrates and nitrites and ammonia are at good levels, but I don't know the exacts, as the fry are growing and doing well, and if these go out of order, they will die first. I guess if they make it, I can use the gender ratio to determine the PH

Welcome webis. As a beginner you picked one of the easy fish, but they are still cichlids. Is the male guarding the fry and not letting her neer them?
If so I have had to deal with this also more than once, if you don't remove the female, he will more than likely kill her till the fry are removed and maybe still.
I make dividers using
plastic mess from Walmart craft dept. it's super cheap and work good or you can get one of there 10 gl. for a few dollars more.
I know it a pain to have to remove everything and if the male is taking over caring for the fry in my experience you might have a dead female if you don't act.
I've had female want to eat the fry and the male drive her away or kill her.
