I was looking at old pictures of my fish and realized that my one of my discus doesn’t look as beautiful as he used to maybe a half a year ago. Could it be because he got worms or something and it messed him up. All I know is now he is happy and eats very well it’s just sad that he lost a lot of his color. What do you guys think about it?

Diet and water quality help in keeping discus color.

Keep up WCs and feed foods high in astaxanthin.

This will promote red coloration well.

It could be the stress of change. They are really picky on their schedule and a change could stress them. I wouldn’t worry about it too much as the discus just has to get used to the change. If it gets worse or doesn’t get better after a while, then I would start to worry.
