Hi! I used to have 7 bloodfin tetras, but I tried a sped up cycle after changing out the substrate, and long story short I got new tank syndrome, ich, and cottonmouth began spreading, and unfortunately I lost 4 tetras. One of them isn't looking good at all and I don't expect her to live much longer. With my school decreasing down to 2-3 fish, what should I do with the last fish? I don't want to torture the tetras by keeping them from being in a school, so I think I will have to give them to my LFS. Also, no, I cannot add more tetras. I don't want any new fish to get sick...

Having one will be fine for a bit. Just try to cycle the tank and sort out everything.
Oh okay, thank you! I talked to an expert near me and I fixed all the new tank syndrome issues, so now I will have to deal with the ich and cottonmouth... D:

For ich, raise the temp up by 8 degrees for 2 weeks while doing gravel vacs daily. Not sure how to treat cottonmouth though. Hopefully, somebody can help you with that.

Also, can you send pics of the affected fish?
