Help Me 20 Goldfish 10 Gal Tank

For what it's worth...I think those tanks you're setting up will work as temporary homes for quite some time. We're talking about 2" fish here. Everyone is going on about them needing ponds. Yes, that's true, but they don't need a pond right now...or in the next few months. In that amount of time I'm sure a solution will be found. Feeder goldfish can live a very long time. Saying they only live a few weeks is absolutely false. Most of the time they do only live a few weeks (if that) because of owner's error...not providing proper care, tank size, filtration, uncycled tank, etc...
Keep doing what you're doing. You're on the right track. You've obviously done quite a bit of research already. If your fish survive and start growing you'll need to start working on where you're going to put them when the time comes that they DO outgrow those containers. Because if they survive, they will outgrow them. In the meantime, learn all you can, and keep up with maintaining the water parameters. You've now got to get these fish through cycling. That's going to entail testing often and daily water changes when the numbers begin to spike.
Make an announcement on your facebook page and let people know you have some rescued goldfish that need to be adopted to a nice pond somewhere. You never know where that might lead. It can't hurt anyway.
Good luck with your endeavor. You've really got your work cut out for you, but I hope it works out for you.
