HELP injured or sick fish!!!

CrazyCatChick

I have a 29 gallon tank. Today I did a water change and moved my cories to a QT to treat a fin rot issue I’ve been dealing with for a while.
I think during the water change and fish catching one of my white skirt tetras got injured. There’s a lump on his face that wasn’t there yesterday and he’s breathing fast. It is near the hill but doesn’t seem right on the hill like hill flukes would be. What should I do? I can QT with the cories, but they’re beating treated with dococycline. I’ve never had anything like this happen before.
Parameters are all in normal range. I’ll test specifics in a sec. Just now noticed the issue and wanted to get opinions ASAP.

If you're sure it's an injury you can leave him in the main tank. If you think it could be a parasite or fluke, I'd move him to a separate tank or container because it's be afraid of it spreading to the other fish.

How long do you have the fish. If it got injured, I would just increase the frequency of the water changes to keep the water as pristine as possible, and observe for the next couple of days.
