Help identifying this mystery plant?

So I decided to get back into fish-keeping after not having any in about 10 years; I bought a cute little 29 gallon tank and cycled it with ammonia and impatience. And then I realized I have no idea what freshwater fish I actually want. Anyway, I thought I'd get it all set up with plants first and see how I feel in a couple weeks. A visit to a family owned pet store proved to be frustrating to me as the employee was a high school kid who said and I quote "I don't know anything about plants." Perfect. So I chose two of these mystery plants solely because they're "cute." Could anyone tell me what they actually are so I can do a bit of research on them? The girl who was at checkout said they were "probably Java ferns" but I have those as well and they look nothing alike. Any help/suggestions/guidance is greatly appreciated :)

I'd say a sword. Don't know which one. Interesting long petioles leaves.

If it has a bulb it's probably an Aponogeton. If not I would say probably a Cryptocoryne.
