Help Identifying Gender Of Crayfish

    96BD81AD-D2CB-491A-AB5F-E45F32589140.jpeg I took a photo of the crayfish and I want to pair it with another crayfish however I have to know the gender first before I can pair it I have tried to pick the crayfish up before but it doesn’t want to be picked up don’t know if anyone can tell me what gender it is by the photo I really don’t want to get pinched again

    I need to see the area just under the legs, where the tail becomes body. Or you can google "how to sex crayfish" and you will see images. Basically the males have a couple of extra bits (as per the usual).

    It’s a male, as it has small spurs near the bases of the 3rd and 4th pairs of legs. Females don’t have those.
