Hi everyone, in another thread we were wondering if anyone can help us identify if what we got is a White Ghost Lobster or White Specter Crayfish?

    Thanks in advance.

Those are just trade names. No such thing as a freshwater lobster. They're all crayfish.

    Hi Mimo,
The reason we wanted to know is so we can have an idea how big they will grow. So are you saying this one can't grow too big since it's freshwater?

We also need to find some fish to go in the tank .

Too big depends on your tank size. What size is the tank?

Keeping a crayfish and fish together is a gamble I don't suggest you take.

That looks like it’s already full grown

The majority of crayfish in the trade are P. Clarkii and P. Alleni. As far as how to tell them apart, I'll let someone more experienced chime in.
