Can anyone help me im trying to find out if i have all males or all female firemouth cichlids!? 2 larger ones have very nice bold colour and the smaller one is always a little more pale looking but sometimes it gets close to the same brightness and boldness of the 2 big fellas i just want to know if there m or f? I have looked at the anal fins and dorsal fins and they all look the same and as for the genitalia that some say they can tell by well lol im lost in that department! :) thanks for any help these first two are of the lil guy

Hmm how big are these guys in inches? I was never good at just looking at them and knowing, I always had to vent them.

What is venting them? And the larger ones are about 3-4" and the little fella is maybe 2" max

Look in front of their anal fin (the fin on the bottom)
If it looks like this, oo , then it's a male. If it looks like this, Oo , it's a female. Hope that helps lol
