Help ID algae eater

    Looks like a common plec, Hypostomus. It will have 7 soft rays to its dorsal fin. If it has more it's Pterygoplichthys, but I'm thinking it's Hypostomus.

    The dorsal fin is very small. I don't even know if I can see one. He is about 2 inches

    I'm no expert on plecs but it looks like a common to me & it'll grow very big, they can get over a foot long so you'll need to start saving for a big tank if you haven't got one already
