Help! I Think My Betta Swallowed A Whole Shrimp Pellet!!!

I was feeding my snails, and Peony the betta snatched a pellet! She’s done this before and usually spits out the pellet eventually and swims away but I looked over after giving my snails a pellet and she wasn’t holding onto the pellet! Her stomach looks pretty big now and her gills keep moving. Her mouth is also slightly open. Is she okay? I can’t get pictures because she keeps on moving! Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Her gills are moving out really far though!

Fast her.

I would combine both above ideas.

Fast her for 3 days then feed her deshelled peas(cut into bite sized pieces.

Yeah, I wouldn't feed her for 3 or 4 days. See how she is, and if required, maybe pea or daphnia

Are they the expanding pellets? If so it will would expand in the fish stomach makeing it very bloated. Do as above. Good luck!

I’ll fast her for three days, and if she still looks bloated then, I’ll give her a pea. Also, about the question on whether they were expanding or not, I actually don’t know. They are like your regular pellet, except bigger. I guess they would expand like every other pellet though? I haven’t seen because my snails eat them so fast!
