Help I.D. if this is Bacterial or Parasidic problem? Long post

Kathylee

Tank
water volume of the tank: 20 Gal High
Tank been running: Since May 2020 (fish were upgraded to bigger tank)
Filter: Yes Aqueon QuietFlow
Heater: Topfin 100W
Temperature: 76°-78°
What is the entire stocking:
*5 Mollies ( 1 Silver, 1 Black Dalmation, 1 orange Balloon Belly, 1 Gold-Panda Lyretail, 1 white Dalmation Lyretail)
* 3 Julii Corydoras
* 1 juvenile Bristlenose Pleco
* At least 2-3 Mini Ramshorn Snails (came with plants, but as soon as they are big enough for the mollies to see them the orange balloon belly eats them)
Plants: 1 Small Anubis & about 6 or more bunches of red cherry hedge or terracotta it was not labeled correctly, it's pink, red, green, very tall, with long flowing white arms on all levels of plant.

Maintenance
How often do you change the water?
Weekly
How much of the water do you change?
4-5 Gallons
What do you use to treat your water?
2 drops Prime in Each new Gallon
Do you vacuum the substrate or just the water? Yes, Vaccum w every water change, because mollies are piggies, and plant matter like dead leaves accumulate- mollies like to pull at the plants!

*Parameters - Very Important
Did you cycle your tank before adding fish?
I used seeded gravel & filter from a cycled 10 gallon- their previous tank. It crashed & I ended up having to do a fish-in-cycle, with exhausting daily water changes & seachem prime. It took weeks.
What do you use to test the water?
API Freshwater Master Test Kit in conjunction with Tetra Strips & Ammonia strips.
What are your parameters?
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 20-40ppm
PH: 7.4-7.6
Hardness: hard- very hard
Chlorine: 0
Alkalinty: 40-80 low-moderate
Feeding
How often do you feed your fish? Daily
How much do you feed your fish? I feed mollies a tiny pinch of flake food, I put in less than 1/4th algae wafer for pleco, and
Bottom feeder pellets or shrimp pellets. Once per week before I do my WC they get frozen blood worms as a treat.
What brand of food do you feed your fish?
Aqueon flake. Omega one Frozen Blood worms. Hikari algae wafers. Aqueon bottom feeder pellets. Omega one Shrimp pellets.
Do you feed frozen or freeze-dried foods?
Just frozen 1x per week

Illness & Symptoms
How long have you had fish? 5+ months
How long ago did you first notice these symptoms? 9-8-2020
In a few words, can you explain the symptoms? Behavioral symptoms.
Have you started any treatment for the illness? Yes. Herbtana Microbe-Lift in conjunction with Artemiss 12 hours apart for the past 72 hours. Also adding 1/8th Tsp salt per day per LFS instructions because we're not sure how Pleco & corys will react to it so small doses for now.
Was your fish physically ill or injured upon purchase? No.
How has its behavior and appearance changed, if at all?
We had a very over populated tank. 10 mollies. We gifted 5 to a family member. Now we only have 5 females. After removing the males the dynamics of tank changed & females seemed like they were figuring it out. Our white dalmation lyretail & gold lyretail were nipping at Each other so badly that I could see their tails become ragged & ripped. So we separated them with a divider for a few days. I treated with stress coat & aloe meds. Fish healed.
* on 9-8-20 I did a routine water change, the water looked cloudy, so I cleaned a little longer than usual. The mollies food kept getting stuck under my air stone bar & from them digging, it would come lose & hang vertically so I moved it about 4 inches over. I had 5 gallons of pretreated water with Prime, ready to go. I had it sit out until it was 78°. I added it, along with 1/2 tsp salt dissolved. After I added 1/2 tsp of Imagitarium Biological booster (LFS told me too) and 1/2 tsp Stress zyme (for aquarium gravel not stress coat) that's everything that was added.
Immediately following they freaked out. We're swimming chaotically, usually they are happy & curious. They were erratic. They normally greet anyone who goes near tank thinking food is coming their way. Any tiny noise, any movement, spooked them, they hid under decorations for days huddling together, either in bottom back corners or under fake rocks. Then they started shunning the white Dalmation Lyretail. She became emaciated, looked like a skeleton swimming. So I removed her & put her in a 2 gallon hospital tank. She looks a lot better now. But in the Main tank it's been over a week, I've been testing water & watching them frantically. I cannot find anything wrong. I brought samples of my tap water & tank to stores. Just to make sure it wasn't something in my tap, I showed them a video & photos. I've researched & read for days online & I am baffled.
NO:
Obvious sores, wounds, ICH, white spots, grey/black/red spots. No visible parasites, worms, itching. No red gills or Gill inflammation. No bloating. No raised scales. No glass surfing.
Yes: stress & behavioral symptoms. Not acting normally. Scared into hiding. Very jumpy. Hanging out at bottom of tank (not the top which would means lack of oxygen right?) Darting all over. Looked like 100% shock of all mollies. Tails curved. Sometimes tail clamping.
White Dalmation Molly: appeared very thin, confused, disoriented, had ripped fin & tail 1 week earlier but healing began. She took a nose dive into the substrate & that's when I took her out. I also noticed her literally vibrating. I watched videos of fish flicking, flashing & having the shimmies & this was 10x worse. Like a seizure. So she's in a hospital tank.
Other details: pleco seems unaffected. Corydoras did not show symptoms until 1 week after fish became stressed. They started flashing & looking tierd, taking more breaks at the bottom than normal.
Everyone is still eating normally & has a healthy appetite.
Medications: I started dosing with Herbtana & Artemiss on 9-15-20. Half-doses to see how my bottom feeders would react. Since, They look better. I did give them peas last night & they did not really care for it.
** I made a different post about them being huddled together & another member suggested that I post here. Maybe someone can tell me if they've had a similar experience? The LFS told me not to purchase any medication, they said to just use the herbtana since I had it on hand. Many people have different opinions of it- I know I read a ton of reviews. & he told me to just keep an eye on them & that is is most likely an internal parasite that I cannot seem. I cannot crack this.

So I have been using the salt! & in my hospital tank with the poor dalmation a few hours after adding more salt than what is normally in the main tank- her shimmies stopped! So it did help with that part of the problem.

I have been using Herbtana 2 of their products. It's supposed to be a natural parasite remedy. I've been doing with Microbe lift for parasitic disease & then with Artemiss for Bacterial diseases. Every 12 hours, it says it's safe to use in conjunction with Each other. My main tank does look a little less stressed. Have you ever heard of these Herbtana products?

UPDATE: It turned out to be a fungal infection on the white Dalmation Lyretail. I bought a small heater for her 2 gallon quarantine. & that alone seemed to help, along with aquarium salt & the 2 Herbtana products. It ended up showing up on 1 of her pectoral fins, but went away after a few days. On her tail, which was originally damaged from another fish- I watched it morph a few times until it looked like a lumpy cottony white blob. Then it became a long stringy white blob. Now it's healing over. There's still a white raised area on her tail. But she's much more energetic & acting normally. I treated main tank too for 10 days but no physical fungus showed up on any others. After using meds my PH & Alkaliny dropped slightly in my main tank, is that normal? & should I keep the Dalmation in QT for another week or so?
