how did you cycle your tank without testing your water parameters? you can still order them online right now though like Amazon with no issues, you need to order one asap. I wont be able to tell you if this is a water quality issue of not if you have no way of testing the water. Your best bet for now is frequent water changes and Prime water conditioner to help bond the high levels of ammonia, nitrite, nitrates. Do you have "Prime" water conditioner at least? its the only water conditioner to help keep the water safe for fish/inverts when cycling or any spikes

Maybe do another water change to be safe since you can test the water right now.
Also can you please post a picture of the sick fish.
And please list how many mollies and approximately how many guppies you have in the tank since you didn’t say.

I have a lot of babies, about 30(35 are babies), and 6 mollies(4 baby)

It’s possible that your having the beginning of a water quality issue, your tank is kinda heavily stocked, I would do a big water change and get a test kit ASAP. I hope this helps

That’s way too many fish for a 20 gal. Assuming your tank is cycled and water quality is okay, the fish are probably super stressed out from being over crowded.

2/3 are about 1/5 of an inch. We still think it is genetics. This has happened before. But only in male guppies. We moved to a different tank so if an infection it wouldn't spread. It passed away this morning. But this is the 4th or 5th case. What is it?

All of your mollies and your gourami are babies as well then? Overcrowding and/or water quality was my guess. If you think it’s genetics then maybe it is, idk

Pretty much, most are babies. The gourami is still young but not a baby.

I would still get that water test kit so you can definitely rule out water quality issues. It will help you figure out what going on for sure
