In a few words, can you explain the symptoms?
Began with transparent stringy poop and yesterday he quit eating.
Have you started any treatment for the illness?
Fish Zole (Metronidazole 250mg 1 tablet in water every 24 hours)
Was your fish physically ill or injured upon purchase?
    no. was eating and active.
How has its behavior and appearance changed, if at all?
it is less active has dark stripes and stopped eating.

Explain your emergency situation in detail. (Please give a clear explanation of what is going on, include details from the beginning of the illness leading up to now)
His poop went from short dark excrement to long clear stringy. He was less active. I began treatment for parasites 2 days ago but I am not noticing any change for the better or worse. Figured it is better to get some advice now instead of waiting for things to get worse. I have been breeding several species of African cichlids for 2 years with no issues but this is my first flowerhorn.

You should have a button under the title called thread tools, if you click that you'll get two options, click "edit title"
