Help Clown Loach....white Spots...

I have 3 clown loaches and some Molly's(lyretail and Mickey mouse) in a tank. Everyone seems good.....

Today I noticed one of my loach's has white spots....well they look white but it's not like they stay still for a good look. Good it just be air bubbles stuck to him/her?? Or is this something I should worry about??








Those are the spots I'm talking about....starting to not look like air bubbles. Skin looks a bit raised

 

You have a case of ich at the moment. You will have to buy some treatment to be rid of the infestation before it gets any worse.

 

When did you get them? Any recent additions to your tank: fish or plants?

 

Are the white spots raised? Hard to tell from pic

 

It almost looks fungal to be honest.

 

Looks like Ich. Metroplex has worked well for me and doesn't bother my bb, inverts or scaleless guys.

2/3 weeks ago I added 4 lyretail Molly. So I'm suspecting they are the culprit. I didn't not buy them from my usual LFS, but a different one because that store had them in stock. Regretting that purchase now

A lot of LFS record their treatments on the corner of their tanks, look out for anything like that. It also can inform you how often they do WCs. If they haven't done one in over a week, shun them lol.

 

Loaches are scaless fish. Kordon ich attack works great for scaless fish. Some medicines wil harm fish without scales. It might turn your water a little brown but it should work if you follow the instructions.
