My betta Atlas seemed bloated yesterday, so I skipped feeding thinking he was just constipated. he’s in a divided 10 gallon, the other betta Legend is completely fine. Atlas was a bit lethargic, but still very aware of surroundings and curious. today he was swimming funky when I turned the lights on and I noticed he was pineconing. Of course i freaked out, I’ve never dealt with dropsy. I did a 40% water change. The tank is also recycling Bc of a freak accident and ammonia’s at 0.25, it’s dropped a lot, almost recycled, around week 12. He’s acclimating in a (clean) bucket, which has tannins, kanaplex, and aquarium salt. It’s only filled to one gallon and has a heater (78f), bubbler, and thermometer. What do I do? Advice? My parents are planning a big trip for this weekend and don’t care enough to cancel it for my fish and I don’t know what to do, I can’t stay.
