Help Asap Snail Is Pooping Red Dots

so my snail is laying on its back and pooping/squeezing out red stringy dots! I had taken it out of the tank to clean the tank (I have a 3.5 gallon tank with one male betta Bibble and the one snail) here is a picture of the snail and the stuff!

. Possibly because I feed my betta who is in the same tank a mix of flakes and blood worms and pellets.

Yep, that would explain the red poo

 

oh thank goodness! I thought it might be eggs but everything I've googled looks different than what my snail is doing.

 

Is that a fish bowl? Do you have filtration?

 

That is a little Bowl I put him just to observe him for a little while. He's back in a 3.5 gallon tank (with my male betta Bibble) with a filter and heater.
