Help! Algae!!!

I have 1 or 2, maybe even 3 kinds of algae in my fresywater 20 gallon long tank.
One looks like a gross mix between brown and green, and likes to grow on my glass.

Another looks like weird tiny fuzz strands on my substrate

The third is this blackish purple algae that likes to grow long and fuzzy, and its hard to see sometimes when it grows on the rocks.

My tank has no nitrites or ammonia, and has around 20ppm of nitrates

What’s your lighting schedule, lighting setup and do you use any fertilizers?

the first kind is probably diatoms(brown algae)
The second kind might actually be a type of fungus
The third I don't know

My lighting schedule is 7:30 to 8, and I use easygreen ferts. My lighting is 2000 lumens.

Turns out the 2nd one is just nematodes lol.

Could you post pictures? That would help a lot
I did

How old is your tank?
And does it get direct sunlight of any kind?

The first picture is 100% diatoms... get yourself a magfloat and just use that and they will burn themselves out eventually

The stuff on your substrate looks like it could possibly be from overfeeding... (hard to tell)
Do you gravel vac when you do water changes?
And how often do you do the water changes?

It’s very very easy to overfeeding fish.... people don’t even realize how little food they need...

To put it into perspective- most fishes stomach’s are the size of one of their eyes....so you can see how little they really need....
It’s also good to give them starvation days.... my fish are only Fed 5 days a week... they don’t get fed on Sunday and they don’t get fed on Thursdays.....this is very healthy for them...

The biggest thing is the stupid bottles of food that tell you to feed your fish 3 times a day... that is absurd and ridiculous.... once a day is perfectly fine or if you want 2 MUCH smaller feedings a day (but one again is fine)

All that leftover food will turn into gross looking algae and such in your substrate if left to sit and is not gravel vacuumed every week....

A really good investment is a Python.... they have a good amount of water pressure because they hook up to your tap and it really sucks the nasty stuff out of there...
Now the over feeding is simply a guess because I’m assuming your a beginner as it’s posted in the beginners forum and 99% of beginners are feeding their fish between 5-10x too much... and then if not cleaned up can cause some algae’s and such

The last picture of the plant looks like some kind of hair algae or again just diatoms (hard to tell from picture) either way it will most likely go away on its own... if it gets worse it’s probably because of some kind of nutrient deficiency... maybe lack of co2 or such (I don’t know how densely your tank is planted)

Those are my best guesses anyway!!
Btw if this is a new tank a lot of this will work itself out... new tanks kind of hit an “ugly”
Stage for a couple months

I do 2 15-25% water changes a week, and I only feed once every day. I don't have dense plants, they're all dying off and I get mad at it lol. Also, I figured out that the stuff is just dead nematodes and just old from my fish. Should I skip on feeding to kill off the nematodes? I heard they try to swim if they're hungry and my fish would eat them...

Are you certain of this?
They could very well be detritus worms....

It takes a microscope usually to differentiate (not an expensive one) just a cheapo from like Walmart or amazon for like 30$ lol

Or a really good eye lol

And are you referring to the round worm type nematodes? (dangerous to fish) ???

I hope not because if that’s the case then your whole tank needs to be moved to a QT tank and treated as it means the fish are infected....
